Owner of The Vault, Dave Gorr, began his DJ career in 1978 in Melbourne, spinning vinyl. He worked his way around Australia playing at clubs in Perth, Broome, Darwin, Townsville, back to Darwin, back to Perth, back to Melbourne, back to Perth (again), Newcastle and now Wollongong. Oh yeah... he also made a name for himself as an award-winning radio broadcaster in Melbourne, Geelong, Perth, Darwin, Townsville, Newcastle and had a #1 radio show here in Wollongong. He was also a candidate for Lord Mayor of Wollongong, but that's another story. What he loves best now is playing tunes at the venue he built, through the sound system he built. To see people dancing and having fun is what warms his heart. That's what The Vault is all about... bringing people together who love having fun.
