About the Event
Regular fixtures at The Edinburgh Festival for eight years, the duo have worked all over the UK as well as Germany, South Africa, Gozo, Spain, Denmark, Ireland, Australia and of course… Peckham. Brian is infamously grumpy and deadpan, while his assistant Krysstal is glamorous but ditzy. The combination is unique and very funny. Their timing is exquisite, their humour dry and sometimes bawdy.
Originally from New York, Peter Meisel is one of Australia’s favourite comedians, making audiences laugh for four decades around the country and the world.
In 2011 and 2012, Peter performed at the New York Comedy Club. He has performed as the Opening Act for: Robin Williams (U.S.A), Carl Barron, Akmal
Saleh, Wil Anderson, Peter Berner, Tahir (Habib from ‘Fat Pizza’) Bilgic, Emmy Winner Rich Hall (U.S.A.), Arj Barker (U.S.A.), the Umbilical Brothers, Vince Sorrenti, Elliot Goblet, Austen Tayshus and George Smilovici. Peter has headlined and emceed at the legendary Harold Park Hotel, Sydney’s Original
Comedy Store, Comedy on Edge, Comedy Corner, the Comedy Cellar, the Basement and Sydney’s Comedy Cruise.
Peter Green is one of the most experienced stand-up comedians on the circuit, first performing in 1988 at the legendary “Comics In The Park” at the Harold Park Hotel. He has since told jokes at every major comedy venue in Australia and New Zealand. Peter is also a very much in-demand comedy writer, and he has written for some of Australia’s best comedy shows, including Australia’s Funniest Home Videos, the TV Week Logies, and Game of Games. He is a major contributor to satirical websites The (un)Australian and Bobvulture. Peter has been called ‘The Gary Larson of Stand-up Comedy’ due to his off-beat
observations and whimsical views of the world. Peter placed equal first in the NSW final of JJJ RAW Comedy in 1998.
